Healing turmeric ladoos with jaggery and ghee

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 cup besan
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • 1/2 cup jaggery, grated
  • 1/4 tsp cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp desiccated coconut

Method

    Roast besan in ghee on low heat for 15 minutes until golden.

    Add turmeric powder and black pepper, stir well.

  3. 3

    Remove from heat, add grated jaggery and cardamom.

  4. 4

    Mix well while still warm until jaggery melts.

  5. 5

    Shape into round ladoos while mixture is pliable.

    Roll in desiccated coconut and store in airtight container.
