Rich oily toor dal fry with deep fried onion and garlic

Ingredients
- 1 cup oily toor dal
- 2 onions, sliced thin
- 6 garlic cloves, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 3 tbsp oil
- Fresh coriander
Method

Cook oily toor dal with turmeric until soft.

Heat oil, fry onion slices until crispy and dark golden.

Add garlic slices, cook until golden and fragrant.

Add tomatoes, red chili powder and cook until mushy.

Add cooked dal, garam masala and simmer 10 minutes.

Garnish with fried onions and fresh coriander.
