Tandoori-style soya chunk tikka with yogurt marinade

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soya chunks, soaked
  • 1/2 cup thick yogurt
  • 1 tbsp tikka masala
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Bell peppers and onions for skewers

Method

    Squeeze soaked soya chunks completely dry.

    Marinate in yogurt, tikka masala, chili, ginger-garlic, lemon and oil.

    Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

    Thread onto skewers with bell pepper and onion pieces.

  5. 5

    Grill or bake at 200C for 15-20 minutes, turning once.

    Serve hot with mint chutney and onion rings.
