Wholesome one-pot moong dal khichdi with mild spices

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup moong dal
- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp ghee
- Salt to taste
- 4 cups water
Method

Wash moong dal and rice together.

Heat ghee, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add dal, rice, turmeric, salt and water.

Pressure cook for 2 whistles.

Mash lightly and add more ghee on top.

Serve with kadhi, papad and achar.
