Comforting moong chilka and rice khichdi with vegetables

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup moong chilka dal
- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 cup mixed vegetables
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 2 tbsp ghee
- Salt to taste
Method

Wash dal and rice together, soak for 15 minutes.

Heat ghee, add cumin seeds and mixed vegetables.

Add dal, rice, turmeric, salt and water.

Pressure cook for 3 whistles on medium flame.

Mash gently and top with ghee.

Serve with yogurt, pickle and papad.
