Wholesome green moong bean curry with thick onion gravy

Ingredients
- 1 cup moong beans, soaked overnight
- 2 onions, pureed
- 2 tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp oil
Method

Pressure cook soaked moong beans until tender.

Heat oil, add cumin and saute onion puree until dark golden.

Add ginger-garlic paste and tomato puree, cook 10 minutes.

Add coriander powder and cooked moong beans with water.

Simmer for 15 minutes until gravy thickens.

Finish with garam masala and serve with rice or roti.
