Ingredients
- 1 cup madhi toor dal
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 4 garlic cloves, sliced
- 2 dried red chilies
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- Fresh coriander
Method

Cook madhi toor dal with turmeric until creamy and soft.

Mash well for smooth consistency.

Heat ghee, add cumin, garlic and dried red chilies.

When garlic is golden, add chopped tomato.

Pour hot tempering over the dal and mix well.

Garnish with coriander and serve with rice or roti.
