- 1 cup madhi toor dal
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp butter
- Fresh coriander
Method

Cook madhi dal with turmeric until soft.

Heat butter, saute onions until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and tomatoes, cook until mushy.

Add red chili powder and cooked dal.

Simmer for 10 minutes, finish with garam masala.

Garnish with coriander and serve with naan or rice.
