Homemade aromatic garam masala blend with whole spices

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 green cardamom
- 2 black cardamom
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp black peppercorns
- 2 bay leaves
Method

Dry roast all whole spices separately on low heat until fragrant.

Be careful not to burn any spice, roast until lightly toasted.

Let all spices cool down completely.

Grind together to a fine powder in a spice grinder.

Sieve for a uniform texture if needed.

Store in airtight glass jar, use within 3 months for best flavour.
