Famous Karnataka sweet made with besan, ghee and sugar

Ingredients
- 1 cup besan
- 1 cup ghee
- 1.5 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Method

Sieve besan and keep ready. Melt ghee and keep warm.

Make sugar syrup to one-string consistency.

Add besan to syrup gradually, stirring vigorously.

Keep adding warm ghee, one spoon at a time, while stirring.

When mixture turns foamy and leaves the pan, pour into greased tray.

Cut into squares while warm, let set completely before removing.
