Ingredients

  • 1 cup besan
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, minced
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • Fresh coriander
  • Oil for cooking

Method

    Mix besan with water to make a smooth, thin batter.

    Add onion, tomato, green chilies, turmeric, cumin and salt.

    Heat a non-stick pan and spread batter thin like a crepe.

    Drizzle oil around edges, cook until bottom is crispy and golden.

    Flip gently and cook the other side briefly.

    Serve hot with green chutney, ketchup or grated paneer.
