Jeera Rice
Simple aromatic jeera rice perfect with any dal or curry

Ingredients
- 1.5 cups basmati rice
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 green cardamom
- 2 tbsp ghee
- Salt to taste
- 3 cups water
Method

Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes, drain.

Heat ghee, add cumin seeds, bay leaf and cardamom.

When cumin sizzles, add drained rice and saute 2 minutes.

Add water and salt, bring to boil.

Cover and cook on lowest heat for 15 minutes.

Fluff with fork and serve with any dal or curry.
