Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed dal blend
  • 3 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 6 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 3 dried red chilies
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi

Method

    Cook mixed dal blend with turmeric until all lentils are soft.

    Mash to desired consistency.

    Heat ghee until smoking, add cumin, garlic and dried chilies.

    Add onion and tomatoes, cook until soft.

    Add kasuri methi and pour over dal.

    Mix well, simmer 5 minutes and serve hot.
